Elle Splendour

Ukrainian genetics and Viennese flair are the components that are needed to combine two very strong contrasts. Elle Splendour represents those counterparts: Dark and Radiant, Grundy and Glamorous, Trashy and Classy - as a Shiny Queen of Trash I am combining opposites into my creative expression.

This creative expression has always been dance and performance art. Finishing an art centred education, for a long time I didn't know what eventually draws me to art, as happenings and performance art was not part of the curriculum, it took me a few years of studying of Odissi - Classical Indian Temple dance. 

Odissi is not only grounding per se, but is for me the starting point. This is where all begins, arises and develops from. 

Even though I am not performing Odissi on a regular basis, this will always remain my core performative existence. 

My mind is hyperactive and so is my creativity. I found my place for my creative expression in Burelsque as it requires developing a choreography, a costume, put detail into music and create a story or idea. 

I keep my mind otherwise busy with many different activities and hobbies of which is also organising events, be it charity or burlesque.
