Elle Splendour

Believing in the aboriginal principle, that a name is not given for life but for stages of ones development- my performance concept has moved into its final stage and so my name changed.

Elle Splendour is true to my creative needs and the contrasting sides of myself. Classy and Trashy. The name is also a tribute to one of the most formative bands in industrial underground music - Esplendor Geometrico. 

Alternative music like this seldom finds its way onto a burlesque stage, but I will try with every new act.

After 5 years of pursuing burlesque practice and experience my focus is now on performing less frequent and instead create stronger impacting performances. 

The OBScene

On 24th of August the first Show of OBScene launched as part of a Open Burlesque Scene Community. We attracted frequenters of DigitAC Voidspace as well as new faces - and we are looking forward to see more of those soon!

The only situation that did not go well is that we were left without a photographer, so only a handful videos can give you an impression of it.

I premiered my Twin Peaks inspired act, prepared for the anniversary of Twin Peaks The Return impersonating an own kind of messenger girl.  

Around the World

Where I go, burlesque comes with me - I had a great opportunity to perform at the only fetish club of Tel Aviv since 50 years. It was a fun night and a big honour! 

Odissi Performance

I have been a long time and distance apart from my love of Odissi. With a lot of remote practicing dedication, I managed to slip into a production with my dance company lead by Vera Victoria Szirmay. 

For Diwali we joined with three choreographies a big theatre performance of various indian classical dance performances. 

Butterflies Moves Events

Jos Nabuurs is another great visionary in the field of supporting and combining different artists and providing space to present themselves and their metier. Since the April issue of Visions of Moresnet in Maastricht, I continue to work with Jos on his crossover art productions. 

Hybryds at Coalescaremonium

Performing with your favourite music artist - sounds like a dream, right? One that became real for me! Knowing Sandy Nys behind the ritual noice and experimental industrial music band - Hybryds, we came down to finally do something big together and I was invited to create live visuals by their side when performing at the regular goth party in Brussels. Thanks to their location and the unique set by the Hybryds, I am not only a band member now, but also one unforgettable experience richer. 

Eve Vaudeville

With Lex' support - me and Miss Fairy Morgaine seized the opportunity to make our own production of a burlesque cabaret at the Cultuurhuis Heerlen. We invited local artists as per my artists support community vision. Thanks to all those artists interest and curiosity from our audience, it was a success! 

Park City Live

As an artist in Heerlen, it is a must to know Lex Nelissen, and when you do it is an honour to perform at his Cultuurtent at the big Pop and Rock Open Air festival in Heerlen. 

Paris Burlesque

Perform where I travel - is one of my credos and so I found a place to perform in Paris. The Wunder Kabaret at the Cantanda turned out to be a lovely artist community, fun, friendly and inspiring. 

Coming back from this experience where I premiered Soviet Nostalgia in 60ies style, I started looking for creating a similar artist-supporting community here in the three countries joint.  

Queen of Burlesque and Rouge Burlesque

Having competed for the Queen of Burlesque title, I made the third place, this secured a good number of performances at the Rouge in their regular burlesque evenings. This practice and guidance from Elles de Graaf from Dance Holland, secured my stage presence.

Bluff Avond & Ambachtelpop

Word spreads quick when making local performances and led to fun performances with local event organisers. 

This evening triggered the creation of two new acts on a short notice, which since then have developed. This all thanks to the positive feedback received from the audience! 

Aachen Burlesque Night No 4

Dia Decadance gave me the opportunity to debut on a stage with international Artists like Colette Collerette and Pretty Boy Rock. It was a confirming experience bringing a lot of new friends and a great start into my burlesque journey.
